Crockpot Chicken Tortilla Soup -- DELICIOUS!!!

In the crock pot combine:
1 24oz can diced tomatoes and juice
2 chopped onion
2 4 oz can green chilis
4 minced garlic cloves
5 14.5oz cans chicken broth
2 t cumin
2 T chili powder
2 t salt
1 t pepper
2 t oregano
2 bay leaf
1 C chopped cilantro
5 chicken breasts
1.5 C dried black beans

1 big package frozen corn- add it at the end before shredding the chicken. that way it will retain a little bite and not be so soggy.

*cook on low for 7 hours. then shred the chicken with two forks in the crockpot.

*serve with garnishes such as:
limes
cilantro
sour cream
avocado or guacamole
shredded tortilla chips
green onions


We served this for our dinner party on Thursday night. Everybody loves it!! Taste especially good with blue corn chips on top.
